I had this problem with my computer, but I did nothing about it. And you know what happened? What was the problem? The problem was that the registry was bad. The registry is a large database which stores a number of files that Windows relies on. New files are constantly added to this database, so it is inevitable that the registry will eventually get too big. When that happens, you'll start seeing a decline in system performance.

When my computer registry went bad, I did an internet search, and read about registry cleaners. I did a free scan, which showed me the problems that were in the registry. I then used the registry repair program to get rid of the files that were not valid, and it repaired the files that were corrupt. The computer worked much better after that, and the registry never became corrupt again, because the registry cleaner worked to keep problems from coming up again.

Some might wonder if they can just repair the registry on their own, but this is not really a very good idea, because it is very easy to make a mistake that could spell big problems for the hard drive on your PC. You would not want to erase a file that you think is a problem when it is actually something that Windows must have in order to operate.
